City of West Sacramento approved Southport Framework Plan and supporting EIR.
January 2009 Liberty design team prepared Preliminary Site Plan (1,741 residential dwelling units).
June 2010 Paik Properties purchased Applegate property.
April 2012 Liberty provided levee geotechnical testing data to West Sacramento Flood Control Agency (WSAFCA) to assist in Southport levee improvement project.
October 2013 Liberty land use planning and entitlement application and Liberty Specific Plan draft 1 submitted to the City of West Sacramento.
October 2013 Paik Properties purchased Risso property.
December 2013 Paik Properties purchased Fenocchio property.
March 2015 Liberty Specific Plan draft 2 submitted to the City of West Sacramento.
April 2015 Liberty Open House #1 was held.
July 2015 A portion of the Liberty property acquired by West Sacramento Flood Control Agency (WSAFCA) to construct Southport levee improvement project.
February 2016 Liberty Open House #2 was held.
March 2016 Liberty Specific Plan draft 3 submitted to the City of West Sacramento.
May 2016 City of West Sacramento advertised the Notice of Preparation of a Draft Environmental Impact Report for Liberty Specific Plan and holds two public Scoping Meetings.
June 2016 Village Parkway South opened to the public.
September 2016 Liberty Specific Plan draft 4 submitted to the City of West Sacramento.
November 2016 City of West Sacramento adopted the 2035 General Plan update. Liberty Specific Plan draft 5 (1,503 residential dwelling units), Architectural Pattern Book, all technical studies, and subdivision maps submitted to the City of West Sacramento.
January 2017 Liberty Open House #3 was held.
February 2017 Liberty land use planning and entitlement application “DEEMED COMPLETE” by the City of West Sacramento.
April 2017 Construction started on the Southport levee improvement project.
June 2017* Liberty Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) out for public review and comment (45 days).
August 2017* Liberty Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) prepared.
September / October 2017* City of West Sacramento Planning Commission and City Council holds public workshops and hearings.
2017/2018** Preparation and approval of construction improvement plans for Liberty phase 1.
2018/2019** Construction of Liberty phase 1 infrastructure and street improvements.
2019/2020** Liberty phase 1 homes available for sale.
