In 1978 Young and Sue Paik purchased the majority of the property today known as Liberty.  They quickly formed a strong bond with the land where their children have fond memories of picking the wild blackberries that grew on the property.  With Young’s early passing in 2010, today the property is owned by their children who are committed to making Liberty a legacy project in honor of their father and mother.

At the heart of Liberty are six Core Values developed by the Paik family and the Liberty design team.  These beliefs have helped guide decisions and are one of the many things that make Liberty so special.
